Original Source: Homemade Mothering
No photos from me today because, well, who needs a picture of a bottle? But since the purpose of this blog is to simply test recipes and get a real opinion, I still say this is worthy of blog space.
So here's my opinion. YAY! I love love love homemade cleaners but hadn't yet found a dust spray to try. Congrats to me for being successful on first go. I love the smell (I added lavender oil to mine). There's no slick, greasy residue when you're done, and my furniture was left with a nice shine. And best of all? No nasty chemicals!
Speaking of chemical-free, one of my favorite finds this year is Honest.com. Every month, I get a new shipment of household items ranging from shampoo to toilet cleaner, all natural and lovely smelling stuff delivered right to my door. If you're interested, and I think you should be, check them out HERE.

Day 52 - Kitchen Magic
Original Source: Little Ms. Robinson
After yesterday's fiasco with the homemade air freshener I was determined to get something right. I love making my own cleaners (think I'll stay away from the baking soda ones for a bit) and I'm glad I decided to try a new one with this one. At least so far. It smells a bit vinegary according to Teen Boy, but while I can definitely smell the vinegar, the Dawn smells so great (I used the New Zealand scent) that I didn't mind.
Looks a lot better than yesterday's concoction, yes?
But, does it work? I just made it a bit ago so I can't swear by it. But I will say this. I had a nasty water burn mark on an eye from last night that I was going to have to scrape off with something sharp. This cleaner got it right up. So there's a point for it right there!
